About this GTA 6 interactive map
This is a free, full interactive map of GTA 6. Pan and zoom the whole state, search every pin, filter by layer and tick off what you have found. Before launch it uses the community reconstruction; on November 19, 2026 it switches to the in-game map and every pin is re-placed from verified player reports.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not published an official area. It describes the map as about twice the size of GTA 5 and three times the playable area of Red Dead Redemption 2. The community measures roughly 83 km² of land, about 1.66 times GTA 5. See the full GTA 6 map size comparison.
Regions and cities
Rockstar has named six regions: the big coastal city, the Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
How to use the map
- Search with /. It is typo-tolerant, so "lamborgini" still works.
- Filter layers such as collectibles, stunt jumps, safehouses, vehicles and weapons. Each layer has its own checklist page: collectibles, stunt jumps, hidden packages, side activities, random events, money spots.
- Track progress by marking pins found. It is free, unlimited and saved on your device.
- Measure distances and travel times with the ruler, or set "You are here" and plan a route.
GTA 6 map FAQ
How big is the GTA 6 map? +
Rockstar has not given an official area. It has described the map as about twice the size of GTA 5 and three times the playable area of Red Dead Redemption 2. The community mapping project measures about 82.7 km² of land, around 1.66 times GTA 5 (49.7 km²). Our map size page compares every measurement and its source.
What regions are on the GTA 6 map? +
Rockstar has named six regions: the main coastal city, the Keys island chain, the Grassrivers wetlands, the port town of Port Gellhorn, the industrial Ambrosia region and Mount Kalaga National Park in the north. Each one has its own area page linked from this map.
Is there a full GTA 6 map leak? +
Rockstar has not released an official full map. The fan-made community map shown here is a reconstruction built from trailers, screenshots and, by its makers' own account, some leaked material, so treat positions as approximate. We switch to the official in-game map at launch.
Is this the official GTA 6 map? +
Not yet. Until GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, the base map is the fan-made GTA VI Mapping Community reconstruction (CC BY 4.0, credited on the map). It is a pre-release estimate built from trailers and screenshots. At launch we switch to the real in-game map and re-place every pin from verified player reports.
Are the pins real? +
Pins marked "example" are samples that show how the map works before launch. Everything else is labelled with its source and verification status. After launch, a find only goes on the map once our team has checked it, and the finder is credited.
How do I track my progress? +
Tap a pin and mark it found. Progress is saved on your device for free with no limit and no account. Insider members can also sync progress across devices, and anyone can pair a phone with a QR code.
How do I search the map? +
Press / or tap the search box and type a name, tag, area or type of find. Search is typo-tolerant, so "lamborgini" or "mony glitch" still match. Add ?q=your search to a map link to share a search.
Can I measure distances and travel times? +
Yes. Use the ruler tool (Shift+M) to tap out a path and see the distance with estimated times on foot, by car, boat, helicopter and plane. Distances are approximate until the official map is calibrated at launch.
How do I add a find? +
Use "Suggest a find" on the map, drop the pin where it is, add a short note and an optional screenshot. A moderator reviews it, and approved finds appear on the map and in our Discord with your name on the leaderboard.
Can I use the map on a second screen while I play? +
Yes. Open the Companion page on your phone, or use voice search and "You are here" on the map. The map also works offline for pages you have already visited.
